A game with infinite inventory needs to be designed to be like that from the start. There are lots of quality-of-life improvements they could make, a lot was already mentioned in this thread. They make mistakes, they make mechanics and systems that are not as tuned as they should be. Now you can take control of the action and be at the center of your own. That doesn't mean players shouldn't complain, the developers are not gods. Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. Many things you see as "boring" are there to enhance your experience. Game design is not an easy job, and if they started to cut down the foundations of the genre, they would end up with a linear game. If you could just randomly explore for a few hours without any restraint, you would end up exploring areas only to find a quest that asks you to go to the same areas again. You need to return to the hubs like towns so you can interact with things in them. It's one thing to ask for faster selling and maybe an increase in inventory, but selling gear and going back to explore is part of the gameplay loop, and it's typical of the genre.
